- The Corporation shall have power to prepare and alter from time to time plans for the development and maintenance of water supply services.
- The Corporation shall have and exercise the power to authorize or delegate any officer, employee, servant or contractor of the Corporation to act as agent of the Corporation to perform any function or carryout any services which may be performed or carried out by the Corporation.
- The Corporation shall have and exercise the power to fix and alter water and sewage management tariffs as the circumstance may warrant.
- The Corporation shall have the power to specify including the power to alter the terms and conditions of supply of water to the consumers based on standards issued by regulatory bodies.
- The Corporation shall have and exercise the power to construct and install new water supply and sanitation infrastructure as the need arises.
- The Corporation or any of its agents shall have power to enter into any premises for purposes of inspection, maintenance and general management of its facilities upon a written notice issued to occupants or users of such premises.
- The Corporation shall have power to enter into agreement with any person for the performance of any of its statutory functions as provided by law.
- The Corporation shall have the power o carry out such activities as are expedient or necessary for the effective and efficient provision of services.
